In May 2008, Jigsaw Nursery was established in Tarragona with a clear objective: to provide the city with a different and innovativeeducational environment, totally immersed in the English language. Step by step, the initial idea, which began by caring for children from 0 – 3 years old, has developed into Jigsaw British School known today as The British School of Costa Daurada.

As a non-denominational, private school, it has allowed for continuity to the initial project by establishing the Early Years Foundation Stage and subsequently adding year after year the relevant stages: KS1, KS2, KS3…

Children from 0-5 follow the EYFS with a Child-centred approach, based on Play-Pedagogy to foster hands on sensory experiences and to promote independence. Starting at the age of 5 the National Curriculum frames the educational project of our school.
