British Education Fair (4-8 October), a unique event to help schools, students and families understand the amazing career and study opportunities offered by the UK. This year we focus our series of live webinars on practical sessions from experts and students (how to apply, get a visa, write a personal statement or a reference; or costs of tuition, visas, cost of living and health cover). The event is an ideal one-stop-shop for schools and students with direct access to +50 UK universities and this year students can chat live with the universities to resolve all their doubts before submitting their applications.
Our Study UK event aims at supporting schools and students in their UK study journey from October right through to February. Our three main stages of activity are:
1. 4-8 October 2021
A week full of informative live webinars with experts and current university students on a variety of key topics of interest. Our focus is on supporting those students who are planning to apply for September 2022. They can get answers to their questions and chat live to universities. Once registered students can come back and revisit the recordings or even contact university delegates again.
2. Mid October to mid February
Study UK: The essentials portal registration remains open as an information tool to watch recordings, navigate university profiles or scholarship information and e-mail universities directly. We can organise ad-hoc Q&A session for your school if you feel that your registered students may wish additional advice and support.
3. 14-18 February 2022
Orientation week for Year 11-12 students with live sessions focussing on career options. Our focus here is to support the work that you do as career counsellors. Whether or not they choose the UK, students will learn what it is like to study degrees in a variety of disciplines and what professional opportunities and pathways they lead to. We expect, of course, that many will like the offers in the UK 😊
We hope you like our new programme of Study UK activities and that you register and encourage students and families to do so as well.
