First established in 2015, St George, The British School of Catalunya is a well-respected private British school, located in the city of Barcelona.

With classes from 2 to 18 years old (Pre-nursery – Year 13), we welcome students from all nationalities and cultures. The school is set in attractive surroundings in the foothills of the Collserola national park featuring Mount Tibidabo. Based in the neighbourhood of Sarria-Sant Gervasi, the school has grown exponentially, and has students from more than 60 different nationalities who initially follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, the English National Curriculum and then on to IGCSE’s, A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB) before having the opportunity to apply to universities across the world. Students are also taught Spanish Language (from Reception upwards), Sociales and Catalan (from Year 2 upwards).

All our programmes of study are taught by an outstanding team of qualified, experienced and inspiring UK-trained educators. Our teachers are extremely committed and dedicated professionals, enthusiastic about their subjects. They work tirelessly to support the students in developing their potential and are trained to provide an individualised educational programme.
