Hastings School is a private British international school in the centre of Madrid. We teach the English National curriculum from the ages of 2 to 16 and then we offer both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and A levels in the final two years.

The school was founded in 1971 and we have a long history of academic success. Our students achieve excellent academic results and graduate to many of the best universities around the world including, in 2023, Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial, London School of Economics, ICADE, IE, Trinity College Dublin, Leiden, Leuven.

Hastings School is made up of six different campuses: three in the district of Chamartín, each around five minutes walking distance from the other; and three in Arturo Soria and Conde Orgaz. All our campuses can be easily accessed both by public transport and on foot.

The most important factor in the quality of a child’s education is their teachers. We have a team of professional and highly trained teachers, mostly from the UK, who are committed to helping students fulfil their potential. We want students to enjoy school, fulfil their academic potential and develop the skills and attributes they will need in a world where many jobs will be automated and distinctly ´human´ qualities (creativity, curiosity, collaboration etc) will be prized above all.
