Orgaz Nursery School was founded in 1999 by María Hita. It is a small family orientated school, which aims to provide a happy and secure environment in which children enjoy learning in English.
Our school aspires to create a British ethos, through the british staff who work here, the weekly assemblies and the open relationships between staff and families.
We offer the British Curriculum to the children from Pre-Nursery (2 years-old) to Year 1 (6 years-old), and aim to provide a stimulating environment where the highest standards of work and behaviour are achieved. This is facilitated by the high ratio of native British staff who teach here, the teacher/student ratio of 10/1, which ensures that students receive individualised attention.
Many of our students go on to other British schools, taking an excellent foundation in spoken English, as well as in reading and writing, with them. We are a member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS) and we are also recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
The school is housed in a residential area in a central neighbourhood in Madrid , which has ample facilities, including two outdoor play-grounds, a climatised swimming pool, well-equipped classrooms and a large gym, used for end of term performances, assemblies and gymnastics.
The school offers a range of Extra-curricular activities: English and Spanish Language, chess, Music (Piano and Violin), Ballet, Art and swimming lessons.
