Oak House Primary school is fully authorised by the Catalan regional government and is a member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain. The school is inspected by British inspectors, and is recognised as a British School.
Our 3 and 4-year-old pupils follow the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum for England and all teaching in these year groups is in English.
Our Primary pupils’ studies are based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales and they also study Spanish and Catalan language and humanities in Spanish.
Oak House Secondary school is authorized by the Catalan regional government and our pupils are taught in English, Spanish and Catalan. Pupils choose between French or German as a fourth language in Secondary. Secondary pupils’ studies are based on the regional Obligatory Secondary Education (E.S.O.) and established British examination courses, International General Certificates of General Education (IGCSEs) in a range of subjects.
In the final two years of their schooling, Oak House pupils are able to choose to continue their studies in English by following the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme or to follow the trilingual Bachillerato programme.
